Cooperative savings (ajo/esusu) and wallet platform for Nigerian thrift groups: virtual accounts, direct-debit mandates, card issuing, and tiered KYC.
Cirva digitizes ajo/esusu, the cooperative savings tradition millions of Nigerians already trust, into a modern wallet platform. I architected the NestJS monorepo and integrated Nigerian financial rails end-to-end: SafeHaven MFB virtual accounts with NUBAN provisioning, Paystack direct-debit mandates, Sudo Africa card issuing, and Prembly/Termii for KYC and messaging. Money-movement endpoints carry idempotency keys, sensitive PII (BVN, NIN) is protected with AES-256-GCM field-level encryption, and pooled-account compliance controls are designed in from the start.
